Random shots!!

With Brayden never sitting still these days I find less and less time to blog. So here are a couple random shots of the boys from March and April. (picture above a common thing these days)

Hey look it's Paulie D from the Jersey Shore!!

Chase enjoying some classic Mickey Mouse episodes on the Ipad. He even got out his ears to watch.

Grandma Char got this shirt for Brayden. I put it on him last weekend and thought he looked like a little girl. It was so cute!! Might have to put it on him more often so I can get my little girl for a day or too.

It says I'm Cute, My mom is Cute, and My dad is lucky!!

Chaseism-Funny/Interesting statements by Chase Bjorgaard the 3 year old

-Chase tells me his ears hurt but only when he rubs them. I ask him is there stuff coming out of them why are you rubbing them? He says "no my brains are just getting bigger."

-Chase picks out a ring from the Chucky Cheese prizes with his game tickets. He gives me the ring and says "this is for you mommy." I tell him thank you. Than he tells me "you can wear it to work and show your co-workers and tell them Chase got it for you." So darn cute I was tearing up. (Eric just stood there and shook his head at me.)

-Playing with a tea set I had picked up for the boys. Chase enjoyed making the tea different varieties including pepperoni tea, mikshake tea, and my favorite peanut butter tea. When I told him at one point I was out of tea he said "sorry we are closed go to Jimmy John's!" Who knew they made tea there too?

-In warning Chase once again not to drink the bath water or he will get sick he looks at me and says "will I get sick with cancer like your grandma did?" I both cried and laughed at the same time.

-While decorating the tree at Christmas time on a Saturday morning Chase says "mom I sure wish dad could be here to help decorate this tree. He's so awesome at decorating. Dad and I are both awesome at decorating." I told him I had no idea this talent that you say dad has?

-I was getting Chase ready for bed and we put on his shark p.j's. I asked him if he wanted to read his "Shark in the Dark" book since he had on the shark p.j's. He said "mom it's not shark day it's garbage day." Which he is right Wed is garbage day.

-As I was making banana bread one night Chase comes down the stairs with Eric sees what I'm doing and tells Eric-"I'm going to help mom make banana bread so she doesn't make it in the wrong order." Once it's done being mixed up he asks for some I tell him not for another hour and you'll be in bed sleeping by than. He suggests sleeping in the living room so he'll be close by when it's ready. He heads to the basement saying "Uncle Russ and dad the banana bread is Making (instead of baking)".

-Chase was watching the Disney channel one evening and there was a Tinkerbell movie on. After he was glued to it for 20 mins I asked him if he liked the movie. He replied back-"This is a girl movie so I don't like it. But when I get bigger I'm going to buy pixie dust put it in my mouth and fly." He continues "And when I get older I want a tea set."

-"Mom I can have beer when I'm 31!" Why yes you can Chase!

-"Mom I'm sorry I peed my pants. It won't happen again. Well maybe sometimes."

-Chase asking Russ a whole lot of questions. Russ says "you sure ask a lot of questions." Chase replies "yeah-that's what kids do." Where does he get this stuff?

-Chase on fighting to take a bath one night.-"I don't want to take a bath, Joe Mauer doesn't take one." I tell him-"yes he takes a shower after every ball game." Chase asks me back-"When we go to the next Twins game can I shower with Joe Mauer after the game?" I didn't have the heart to tell him Oh Chase that is wrong on so many levels.

-"When I get bigger I need a tie to go to work with Daddy."

-Chase says to me-"You are my best friend but Brayden's a bad guy so I must shoot him with my gun."

-Chase watching commericals on tv one night says to me "Mom I need a Spike". I ask him a what? He says "I need a spike it's something to drink." I ask do you mean a Sprite? And to that he answers "Yeah that!"

-Asking Chase what happen between him and the neighbor boy earlier in they day. Chase tells me "he pushed me down and next time he comes over he has to get a time out!"

-Another poop story-Russ was telling me about the poop Chase had earlier in the day. Russ just called it big. Chase called it bouncy ball size. (the things they relate too?)

-Words a potty training mother loves to hear. "Mommy I'm going to wipe my own butt tonight, Thanks."

-Chase tells me the other day after going to the bathroom on the potty himself. "Mommy don't worry I won't do the weiner dance when I go to school." Referring to the dance he does after every pee on the potty. Which is performed before he puts back on his underware and pants and for everyone to see.

-Walking by an "ADT" security sign-"Chase asks what does that sign mean?" I tell him it says don't come into my house with out asking. Walking back by the sign later he says to me "that sign means stay out of my house and don't take my stuff!"

-While saying good night to Chase and thanking him for doing so well at pictures (his 3 yr photo shoot) earlier that day he says to me-"yeah all my pictures were funny and they were all so good!" (We haven't seen the pictures yet but glad he is so confident)

-I read a title of an article on MSN "Women puts child on E-Bay." Chase says "who put what on felipe?" I explain to him a woman tried to sell a kid on e-bay and you can't do that because it's wrong. I tell him I didn't put Brayden or him up for sale. I say quietly "though some days I would like too." He asks me "do you want to today?"

-Chase puts on Eric's sz 14 basketball shoes and has Eric's basketball. He says "when I get bigger I'm going to wear shoes this big and be on the green team and that's going to be pretty cool!"
